USC has filled its season-opening slot on the 2025 schedule, the program announced on Wednesday.

USC is 99-24-8 overall in season openers, including 36 shutout victories. The Trojans are 3-0 in season-opening games under Lincoln Riley, but they have yet to pitch a shutout in the first game of the season. USC has just 1 shutout overall in Riley’s 31 games coached with the program.
The game with Missouri State rounds out another tough schedule for the Trojans in 2025. The nonconference slate will include the traditional matchup vs. Notre Dame along with a game against Georgia Southern and former Trojan head coach Clay Helton.
In the Big Ten slate, USC will face Oregon, UCLA, Nebraska, Iowa and Michigan among others. There are currently 3 road trips scheduled to the middle of the country via road games against Illinois, Nebraska and Purdue.
