USC freshman gifts mom new SUV with NIL funds
USC freshman Jahkeem Stewart is hoping to make an impact with the Trojans as a true freshman this fall. But first, he put some of his NIL funds to good use.
On Friday, Legendary Sports Marketing and Management shared images and video of a new Jeep that Stewart purchased for his mother through his NIL funds.
“I truly love you, I truly appreciate you,” Stewart says in the video. “I hope this little gift just shows you how much I appreciate you and how much I love you. It’s not the end, it’s just the start.”

Stewart joined USC as one of the top players from Louisiana in the 2025 recruiting class, choosing Lincoln Riley and the Trojans over in-state LSU, Oregon and Alabama, among many other offers. He was a 4-star prospect and top-50 player per the 247 Sports Composite and was rated the No. 5 defensive lineman in the entire country.
Listed at 6-foot-6 and 270 pounds coming out of high school, Stewart certainly has the potential to see some early playing time and make a quick impact in Los Angeles. However, he’s already made an impact for his family back in Louisiana, and it’s a great way to utilize his early NIL.
