USC lands commitment from 4-star in-state WR Trent Mosley
USC landed a notable pickup for its 2026 recruiting class on Tuesday.
Trent Mosley is staying in California to play college football. He’ll make the move from Rancho Santa Margarita to Los Angeles to play for Lincoln Riley’s program.
Mosley announced his pledge to USC on social with the help of On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

A standout of Santa Margarita Catholic, Mosley is listed as measuring over 5-10 and 170 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Mosley is rated 4-stars, the No. 21 player in the state of California, No. 26 wide receiver and No. 173 prospect overall in the Class of 2026.
Mosley attracted interest from coast to coast. Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Michigan State, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA and Washington are among the other programs to extend scholarship offers to Mosley.
The Trojans had to work against 2 potential programs. Mosley’s brother Emmett is a wide receiver at Stanford. Mosley’s parents played soccer and football at Notre Dame. Both programs extended scholarship offers to Trent Mosley.
USC really used nothing but highlights from games against Notre Dame to celebrate the commitment of a Notre Dame legacy recruit, Trent Mosley.
