All-American FCS linebacker John Pius announced Monday evening that he has committed to Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers.

Pius is a 4-year college veteran who played for William & Mary. The All-American LB has amassed an incredible 172 tackles, 35 tackles for loss and 21 sacks across the past 2 seasons. He was named the CAA Defensive Player of the Year and has also received 1st-team All-American honors.

Pius is the 3rd transfer portal addition for the Badgers this offseason. Wisconsin has also added Syracuse LB Leon Lowery and LS Cayson Pfeiffer from Cincinnati.

Pius will have 1 season of eligibility remaining after joining the Tribe in 2020. He saw 38 games of action with William & Mary.
