Amare Snowden is making the move to the B1G. The 6-foot-3, 187-pound cornerback is heading to Wisconsin after originally committing to Cincinnati.

The 4-star prospect is listed as the 64th-best cornerback in the 2023 class according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings. Snowden reunites with head coach Luke Fickell, who was hired by the Badgers after six seasons in Cincinnati.

The big cornerback also played wide receiver at Roseville High School in Michigan. Snowden is one of Wisconsin’s best signings in the 2023 Class that includes 12 other commits. More so, the Badgers have six commits listed at safety or cornerback.

Wisconsin finished 6-6 overall under head coach Paul Chryst and interim head coach Jim Leonhard. Chryst was fired in early October after becoming the head coach in 2015.

Fickell will look to bring back the Badgers to prominence in an open B1G West. Purdue represented the division in the B1G Championship Game with an 8-5 record.
