Wisconsin has its guy back.

The Badgers were without Vince Biegel for their two toughest games of the season. They held their own defensively and lost by a touchdown to Michigan and Ohio State.

But on Saturday, the Wisconsin captain will be back.

The Badgers announced that the senior linebacker will return from his foot injury on Saturday against Iowa.

Biegel was originally expected to miss close to a month after having screws inserted into his foot. That announcement was made days before the Badgers’ showdown at Michigan.

He went through warmups but ultimately didn’t play last Saturday against Ohio State.

His return figures to give even more life to a defense that’s among the nation’s best. Without Biegel, T.J. Watt and Jack Cichy led the No. 9 scoring defense in FBS.

In four games of action, Biegel had two tackles for loss and one sack.

Kickoff for Saturday’s game is set for 11 a.m. CT in Iowa City.
