Allen is a crucial part of the Badger offense and only trails Chase Brown of Illinois and Blake Corum of Michigan in rushing yards among B1G RBs.
Entering Week 8, Allen was coming off of one of his best games as a Badger. In the 2OT loss to Michigan State in Week 7, Allen had 123 rushing yards and 2 TDs, to go with 3 catches for 33 yards.
Allen is currently listed as questionable to return against Purdue though the ESPN broadcast has announced he is cleared to return to action if needed. With Allen out, senior Isaac Guerendo figures to get the bulk of the carries.
