Broncos HC updates QB Russell Wilson’s injury status after missing Week 7

The Denver Broncos didn’t play well under Brett Rypien. The backup QB threw for 225 yards and an interception in the Broncos’ 16-9 loss.
Even if he hasn’t played as expected this season, the Broncos need Russell Wilson back in a big way if turning the ship around is on the table.
Well, there’s good news. The former Badger is “trending in the right direction” towards playing in Week 8 in London against the Jaguars.
Broncos’ HC Nathaniel Hackett told reporters that Russell Wilson is “trending” in the direction to be able to play next Sunday in London vs. the Jaguars.

The Broncos are looking to salvage what has turned into a 2-5 start to the season. Denver needs to start winning and winning fast.
