Chimere Dike completes first career hat trick in Jim Leonhard's head coaching debut
Chimere Dike was balling out in Jim Leonhard’s head coaching debut. Dike had over 150 yards receiving with three touchdowns.
The Wisconsin offense as whole looked much better under Leonhard’s guidance. Dike’s third touchdown of the day wasn’t an incredible play, but it still had significance for the Badgers wideout.
Dike’s hat trick on Saturday was the first of his career. The Northwestern secondary had a lot of problems containing him during the game.

Graham Mertz and Braelon Allen also had good bounce back games after the blowout loss to Illinois. Mertz completed 14-of-22 passes for 200+ yards passing and 4 touchdowns. Allen managed to get over 100 yards rushing after getting shut down by the Illinois defense a week ago.
Wisconsin will need more games like this in order to get back into contention for the B1G West title.
The Badgers still have to face Purdue, Maryland, and Minnesota just to name a few of the tougher opponents left on their schedule.
