Chucky Hepburn is a good kid. The sophomore guard out of Nebraska showed up to B1G Basketball Media Days honoring his late grandma and brother.

A nice tribute here. And it’s a nice suit on top of it.

Hepburn had a productive season as a freshman, averaging 7.9 points per game while leading the Badgers in assists and finishing second in steals. He was the first true freshman point guard to start a season opener at Wisconsin since Devin Harris in 2001. His results earned him a spot on the B1G All-Freshman team.

Hepburn helped the Badgers to a 25-5 record (15-5 B1G) last season. Wisconsin fell in the second round of the NCAA tournament to Iowa State. He returns to Madison as one of the best backcourt guards in the conference.

For now, Hepburn’s recognition of his family members is a nice story at media days. Wisconsin fan or not, he is someone you could pull for in the sport.
