Another day, another player has entered the transfer portal.

On Sunday afternoon, Cincinnati freshman defensive back, Jonquis “JQ” Hardaway announced via his Twitter account that he will be entering the transfer portal.

This announcement comes a little after former Cincinnati coach Luke Fickell accepted an offer to be the new head coach at Wisconsin. So, it’s still up in the air where Hardaway will transfer to, but there’s a possibility he could take Fickell’s lead and go into the B1G.

Hardaway, an early enrollee at Cincinnati, was a 4-star recruit out of high school in Alabama and was rated among the top 15 cornerbacks in the country.

Although he has not seen much action this season, Hardaway already has made some serious moves. In January of this year, he was selected to play in the Under Armour All-America Game and had offers from 28 schools, ultimately deciding on Cincinnati. So this kid is kind of a big deal.

We will certainly stay up to date on what happens with the young DB and where he will end up playing ahead of next season.
