Danny Davis did not come off the board during the 2022 NFL Draft. Fortunately, he’s getting a shot to make an NFL roster with the Green Bay Packers.

On Friday, Davis made his preseason debut for the Packers and turned in a solid outing. He scored on a beautiful catch-and-fun, finishing off the play with a dive for the pylon.

Davis added a second catch to finish with 45 yards and a touchdown on the night.

Davis certainly has a solid outing to build on, but he is not getting too far ahead of himself.

“I try not to get too high or too low,” said Davis according to Packers.com. “I understand I gotta continue to stack days like this and continue to be the player I want to be. Of course, I’m grateful and it’s a blessing to be able to do that. I’m ready to keep going and build from it.”

Davis was the second Wisconsin receiver to have a solid showing Friday. Fellow Badger Kendric Pryor also had a great outing with the Cincinnati Bengals.
