The Denver Broncos and Ex-Wisconsin CB/special teamer Faion Hicks have reportedly agreed to a rookie deal per Mike Klis of 9News in Denver, Colorado. Hicks was a 7th-round pick by the Broncos in this year’s NFL Draft.

Hicks appeared in 44 games for the Badgers throughout his career in Madison. He had 108 total tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 1 interception, and 19 pass deflections.

Klis revealed that Hicks’ contract with the Broncos will be a 4-year deal worth $3,761,680 million. The only part of the contract that is guaranteed is the $101,680 signing bonus.

Hicks wasn’t the only former Wisconsin player to get drafted. Linebacker Jack Sanborn (Chicago Bears), CB Caesar Williams (LA Rams), OL Josh Seltzner (Indianapolis Colts), S Scott Nelson (Seattle Seahawks), WR Kendric Pryor (Cincinnati Bengals), WR Danny Davis III (Green Bay Packers), and DT Matt Henningsen (Denver Broncos) were all taken in the 2022 NFL Draft.

The former Badgers’ CB now has a chance with the Denver Broncos.
