Even with tremendous statistics, Paul Chryst propelling Wisconsin forward

Wisconsin’s stats look like they’re from a video game — both on offense and defense. The Badgers are averaging 40 points per game while the defense has posted three shutout.
Three shutouts is a lot for a full season, but Wisconsin has only played five games.
Still, Badgers head coach Paul Chryst doesn’t sound like a coach that’s going to let his players rest on their laurels. When asked about his offense and defense’s strong statistics during his Monday’s press conference, Chryst responded saying “Only at the end, can you write the narrative.”

In today’s instant gratification world, that’s hardly true. Sports writers and fans try to write the narrative after every drive let alone near the midway point of the regular season.
But Chryst’s comment rings true for a team that should be dedicated to win another B1G West division title and maybe even be in the playoff picture in late November.
