Apparently Aubrey Solomon’s alleged recruiting mail mishap wasn’t as bad as it could’ve been.

The four-star defensive tackle de-committed from Michigan after alleging that the team sent him a piece of mail he shouldn’t have received and also spelled his name wrong.

But that doesn’t hold a candle to the piece of mail Clint Copenhaver got from Wisconsin over 20 years ago.

The former Michigan linebacker shared a recruiting letter from the Badgers with a NSFW mistake:

Wow.

Obviously things fall through the cracks in the recruiting world, but that’s certainly as bad of a mistake as it gets, especially if Copenhaver’s mom was the one who checked the mail.

Copenhaver played at Michigan from 1995-98 and was part of the Wolverines’ national championship team. He still has the piece of mail over 20 years later that Wisconsin obviously regrets.

So as Copenhaver said to Solomon, it certainly could’ve been much worse.
