Ex-Wisconsin WR Quintez Cephus shows off his athleticism with a one-handed grab at Detroit Lions practice
Former Wisconsin WR Quintez Cephus is trying to show the Detroit Lions why he deserves to be on the roster. He made a ridiculous one-handed catch at practice recently, showing just that.
Cephus went down with a collarbone injury in Week 5 against the Minnesota Vikings, forcing him to miss the most of the 2021 season. He was drafted by the Lions in the 5th round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Now, it’s starting to look like the Lions may have gotten what they hoped out of the young Wisconsin product.
In the video, Cephus leapt into the air over the CB that was trying to cover him and made the grab look easy. He was immediately surrounded by his teammates that witnessed the feat. If he keeps making plays like this, there’s no doubt that he will keep his roster spot on the team.
