Fans, media members take to Twitter following BYU's huge upset of Wisconsin
The Wisconsin Badgers did not look great in a heart-breaking loss to BYU.
Wisconsin battled all afternoon but never seemed to get the offense in full gear against the Cougars. On the defensive side of the ball, the Badgers were caught sleeping by a devastating trick play that BYU pulled off for a beautiful touchdown.
In the end, the Badgers were driving for a game-tying field goal in the final minute of the game and were in good position with 47 seconds left. Unfortunately, the kick byย Rafael Gaglianone sailed wide of the uprights.
The missed kick gave BYU a 24-21 win and put a serious dent in Wisconsin’s title hopes. Following the game, media members and college football fans alike reacted to the surprise upset by the Cougars:
