Wisconsin will be without several key players for this weekend’s game against Purdue.

Thursday morning, Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel tweeted out the Badgers’ updated injury report, which listed five players who would miss Saturday’s game against the Boilermakers.

The two biggest names on that list are receiver Jazz Peavy and defensive end Chikwe Obasih.

Peavy has only caught five passes for 55 yards in five games this season, but has proven to be an asset to the offense in the past, especially on Wisconsin’s famous “Jazz Sweep” plays that became so famous a season ago.

Obasih, who was expected to be a key member of the defensive line this season, hasn’t played since the season opener.

Wisconsin is 5-0 on the season and a perfect 2-0 in conference play. Purdue is 3-2 on the year and 1-1 in the B1G.
