Former Wisconsin LB Spencer Lytle announces transfer to Pac-12 program
Former Wisconsin LB Spencer Lytle is heading back out west. The California native will continue his college football career at Stanford.
Lytle took to social media to announce his transfer commitment.

A former St. John Bosco High School standout from Redondo Beach, California, Lytle was with the Badgers for 4 seasons. He played in 15 games for Wisconsin.
Lytle redshirted in 2019, his first year in Madison. Lytle made his Wisconsin debut against Michigan on Nov. 14, 2020. He played in 5 games in 2020, logging 2 tackles and a forced fumble.
In 2021, Lytle played in each of the first 5 games until he was sidelined by injury. He would return for the Las Vegas Bowl, his 6th game of the season. Lytle finished 2021 with 4 tackles, including 1 for loss.
This past season, Lytle played in 4 games. He recorded a tackle against Northwestern.
As a recruit, Lytle was a 3-star prospect with 43 scholarship offers. With his redshirt season and the NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver, Lytle has 2 remaining seasons of college eligibility.
