Former Wisconsin RB Corey Clement lands with new NFL team
Former Wisconsin running back Corey Clement has been signed as a free agent.
On Monday, the New York Giants announced that they have signed Clement, who spent the past four seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles. The organization also announced the signing of wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin. The announcement comes at the end of the team’s rookie minicamp.

As a member of the Eagles, Clement appeared in 46 regular season games and three postseason contests. His regular season numbers included 655 rushing yards, 340 receiving yards and 9 total touchdowns. In the postseason, he had 33 yards on the ground and 139 receiving yards.
During the 2020 season with the Eagles, Clement totaled 75 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries and had 25 yards on 5 receptions.
Clement was undrafted out of Wisconsin in 2017 but was picked up by the Eagles, where he carved out a role for himself. He was a member of the Philadelphia squad that won Super Bowl LII.
