Former Wisconsin RB Montee Ball says Kinnick Stadium is among 3 loudest he's played in
Week 4 of the college football season should be a blast.
There are plenty of intriguing games throughout the country and this weekend will mark the first weekend that will have mostly Big Ten teams going against each other. To end Saturday night, B1G fans will get a treat.
No. 18 Wisconsin has to travel to face the Iowa Hawkeyes, who received the most votes outside of any top 25 team — they could be seen as the No. 26 team in the country.
To this point, Wisconsin is 2-1, while Iowa is a perfect 3-0.
Moving back in time from 2009-12, the Badgers had a great RB. Who knew? His name was Montee Ball.
Ball played in the NFL for a couple season with the Denver Broncos as well, but he’s most known for dominating at Wisconsin. During his time as a Badger, he played the Hawkeyes twice. In 2009, Wisconsin hosted Iowa, but lost the game.
Then, one year later, Ball’s Badgers traveled to Kinnick Stadium and pulled out a 31-30 victory. On Friday, just one day before this season’s Wisconsin-Iowa clash, Ball appeared on the Wisconsin Football Roundtable.
Here’s what he had to say about Kinnick Stadium:
Wisconsin is at Iowa tomorrow night. As @MonteeBall28 can attest, it's among the most difficult places to play. We chat with him, @AD908_Strong and @TravisBeckum47 on that and more on this week's episode of the Wisconsin Football Roundtable. #Badgers https://t.co/YG8vpDxS2E pic.twitter.com/YmCeOiFGUi

No matter where else he played in college, no destination proved to be louder than Kinnick. In Ball’s entire football career, he said that only playing the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle matched the intensity at Iowa.
To close, Ball said, “I’m going to be honest. I’m a bit nervous.”
We’ll find out if the Badgers were nervous Saturday night.
