James Franklin has his sources. Everywhere.

They apparently keep tabs on Wisconsin quarterback Alex Hornibrook, a Malvern, Pa. native, who Penn State will see in the B1G Championship on Saturday.

Apparently one of Franklin’s contacts answered the question that many are wondering. Will Hornibrook be available on Saturday?

Hornibrook is listed as questionable for Saturday because of a head injury. Hornibrook was forced out of last weekend’s game against Minnesota after taking a shot to the head trying to make a throw on the sideline.

Paul Chryst figures to use his two-quarterback system even if Hornibrook is healthy. He used it in the final six games of the season and helped the Badgers clinch the B1G West.

On the season, Hornibrook completed 58.1 percent of his passes for 1,243 yards with eight touchdowns and seven interceptions. He took over the starting job for Bart Houston when the Badgers took on Michigan State in the B1G opener.

Houston hasn’t started since Wisconsin’s scare against Georgia State in Week 3. It remains to be seen which quarterback will got the nod on Saturday.

But if Franklin’s sources are right, it’ll be Hornibrook.
