Graham Mertz delivers beautiful ball to Chimere Dike for 49-yard Badgers TD
After Wisconsin went down 7-0 in their game against Northwestern, quarterback Graham Mertz led the Badgers back with this gorgeous pass to tie the game:

It was an excellent play-action fake by Mertz and he made the Wildcats pay with that 49-yard strike to Chimere Dike.
While Mertz has had no trouble finding the end zone this season, that reception was the first touchdown catch of the year for Dike. He had 2 catches for 29 yards in the first two games of the season. He also had one carry for 30 yards.
Northwestern’s defense has played pretty well against the pass this season, but came up short on that play.
This is one of the games of the week for the Big Ten as the winner of this game will likely go to the Big Ten Championship game next month. It’s living up to the billing so far.
The game is currently being televised by ABC.
