Greg Gard spoke about if Wisconsin fans can expect Tyler Wahl to play in its next game against Michigan State. Wahl missed the Illinois game due to an ankle injury.

Wahl was not seen at practice on Sunday, Gard announced. Wahl’s impact on the court was missed as the Badgers lost 79-69 to the Fighting Illini on Saturday. Wahl averages 13.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.8 per game.

Gard said that he wasn’t sure if the Wisconsin forward will be able to play in Tuesday’s contest. The Badgers may need Wahl’s scoring output as Michigan State is on a hot streak. The Spartans have won their last six games and are coming off of a 59-53 win over Michigan.

The No. 18 Badgers could distance themselves in the race for a B1G title with a win over the Spartans. Luckily the game will be Madison instead of East Lansing. Wisconsin fans will be hoping to see Wahl on the court.

Wisconsin will have a chance to get back on track after losing to Illinois. Michigan State-Wisconsin tips off at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
