Depending on what your expectation level was a year ago, Wisconsin’s 2018 season could be considered a disappointment.

Heading into last year, the Badgers were considered a frontrunner in the B1G and a challenger to a spot in the College Football Playoff. Instead, Wisconsin finished the year with an 8-5 record and appeared in the Pinstripe Bowl.

That’s not a bad season, but it wasn’t the type of year folks in Madison have become accustomed to seeing. And it may not be the type of year to expect in 2019.

The BTN Bus Tour made its stop on the Wisconsin campus on Thursday to take in a Badgers practice and meet with players and coaches. The initial thoughts from Dave Revsine, Gerry DiNardo and Howard Griffith were very positive.

Howard was particularly impressed, saying this year’s version of Wisconsin is definitely better than it was a year ago.
