Wisconsin fell behind Penn State in the third quarter, but the Badgers answered right back with a score of their own.

After a scoreless first half in Madison, Wisconsin’s first drive of the third quarter was a quick 3-and-out. Penn State turned that into the first touchdown of the game on a big throw to Jahan Dotson.

Fortunately, quarterback Graham Mertz and the offense responded with a 10-play drive of their own. They rolled 75 yards with a key grab provided by tight end Jake Ferguson.

It came on 2nd-and-9 deep inside Penn State territory with Ferguson’s diving grab going down to the 3-yard line:

Chez Mellusi scored on the ensuing play to tie the game at 7-all:

Game on in Madison! Wisconsin will look to gain control while leaning on the rushing game.
