New Wisconsin running back Braelon Allen is already showing off why he was a 4-star prospect out of high school. Well, at least one of the reasons.

On Monday morning, a video of Allen squatting 610 pounds made its way to social media, creating a buzz among Wisconsin’s fan base. That’s a pretty impressive sign of strength for the 6-foot-2, 215-pound freshman.

Below is the video that made its way to social media:

He’s going to be hard to bring down with that kind of strength.

Allen initially committed to Wisconsin as a linebacker but will be switching positions to start his career with the Badgers. Out of Fond Du Lac High School, Allen was listed as the No. 217 overall prospect in the class and the No. 3 player in the state of Wisconsin, per 247Sports Composite.

Wisconsin beat Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame for Allen’s pledge. And the Badgers should be incredibly pleased they won that battle.
