Wisconsin defensive lineman Isaiahh Loudermilk is off the board!

With the No. 156 overall pick in the draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers made the move to nab Loudermilk. He will join fellow B1G stars in Illinois OL Kendrick Green and Penn State TE Pat Freiermuth as 2021 draft picks of the Steelers.

Despite the shortened 2020 season, Loudermilk contributed 13 total tackles that included 2.5 TFL and 2.0 sacks. He finishes his Wisconsin career with 62 total tackles, 12 TFL, and eight sacks.

Listed at 6-foot-7 and almost 300 lbs., Loudermilk brings the kind of size and length that Pittsburgh likes to see along the defensive line. It should be interesting to see his development with a team like the Steelers with his ability to rush the passer.

Loudermilk becomes the second B1G player selected in the fifth round, following Ohio State TE Luke Farrell going to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The conference saw just two selections in the fourth round.
