Wisconsin came to play.

In the first half of Saturday’s B1G Championship Game, the Badgers owned a 7-0 lead over No. 1 Ohio State and were driving with the football. Wisconsin was able to take advantage, thanks to strong offensive line play and the quick legs of Jack Coan.

On a 2nd-and-4 from the 14-yard line, a gap opened up and Coan was able to race into the end zone, giving the Badgers a 14-0 lead over the Buckeyes. It’s quite the start for Paul Chryst and company.

Ohio State was a heavy favorite entering this contest, expected to be competing for the No. 1 ranking in the final poll. Wisconsin isn’t making it easy.

In the first half of the B1G Championship Game, Wisconsin already doubled its total from its first game against Ohio State in Columbus.
