Jack Sanborn went undrafted in 2022 after finishing a strong career at Wisconsin. Now, the linebacker is trying to work his way into a roster spot with the Chicago Bears in the preseason.
On Saturday, Sanborn got his first taste of NFL action. He also snagged a quick interception while working with the Bears’ defense.
It was a simple coverage for Sanborn as he covered the tight end on a curl route and jumped the pass for the pick.

That game is now into the 3rd quarter and Sanborn has added 2 tackles, a TFL, a pass deflection and a fumble recovery. Sanborn is definitely off to a promising outing as he looks to impress the coaching staff.
After going undrafted, it is the little things that can add up in a big way for Sanborn.
