Jake Ferguson’s NFL career has been off to a slow start as a rookie. Fortunately, the Wisconsin tight end was able to score and help his team on Sunday Night Football.

Early in the fourth quarter, Ferguson and the Dallas Cowboys were driving. On a play from deep in the red zone, QB Cooper Rush looked Ferguson’s way.

The throw was a short one with one defender quickly closing in. However, Ferguson slammed on the brakes and watched as the defender flew by without being able to stop in time.

After that, it was an easy score from 7 yards out for the Badger:

The Sunday Night Football game is easily the most productive game of Ferguson’s young career. After entering the game with 3 catches for 20 yards on the season, Ferguson has produced 3 catches for 38 yards and his first touchdown against the Eagles.
