Jim Leonhard is trying to put together a solid stretch run leading Wisconsin. He revealed Thursday a pair of defenders will be back in Week 10 that could help the team.
According to Leonhard, defensive back Hunter Wohler and star linebacker Nick Herbig will be back for the game against Maryland. Wohler was injured in the season opener and has been sidelined since while Herbig was held out of the game against Purdue.

Even missing the game against Purdue, Herbig is still Wisconsin’s team leader with 6 sacks and 9.5 TFL. He’s also forced a fumble and has 30 total tackles on the season.
Wohler was expected to play a key role for the Badgers in 2022 after 17 tackles, 3 TFL and a sack as a true freshman in 2021. He had 3 tackles in the season opener before leaving with an injury.
Hopefully, the two stars are able to return without further incident in Week 10.
