Jim Leonhard is back at Wisconsin on Luke Fickell’s staff. It was reported on Saturday that Leonhard is returning as the team’s DC.

Some Wisconsin fans figured that Leonhard should have been awarded the head coaching job in the first place after he helped the team reach a bowl game following a poor start to the year.  The Badgers finished 6-6 under Leonhard with a 23-16 loss to Minnesota in his final game as interim HC.

Social media was ablaze following the news of Leonhard’s return. Leonhard will be going back to the role he had before Paul Chryst’s firing. Wisconsin fans will welcome Leonhard back with open arms.

Fans called for Leonhard to have a statue built in Madison. The general consensus is that this move by Wisconsin is a good one. Wisconsin fans are feeling good about their team for once.
