JJ Watt recorded his 100th career NFL sack on Sunday, but he deflected praise to his teammates in a postgame locker room speech.

Here’s what Watt had to say to his teammates and coaches after Houston’s 27-25 win over Jacksonville:

“Leading up to the 100th, the media always asks questions and I’ve always said no personal achievement is ever more important than the team’s achievement,” Watt said. “So to get it on a day when we got a win as a team means a lot to me. Football is the ultimate team game. Nobody does anything by themselves in football.

“And 100 sacks is great, but that’s a whole bunch of teammates, coaches, coverages, d-lineman, linebackers, that’s a whole bunch of people … So while I may get a lot of media attention today for this, just know that it’s because of you and it’s because of everybody that helped make it happen. It’s never just about one person.”

Watt also ended the speech with a bang.

“So I want to thank you, I appreciate it, and hey, we got a F****** win!” he said.

The Texans are now 2-6 on the season.

Watt is the 35th player in NFL history to reach the 100 sack milestone. He trails only Cameron Wake, Von Miller and Terrell Suggs on the active list.
