Joe Schobert had a strong run as a linebacker at Wisconsin. Now entering his 7th NFL season, Schobert is on the move and is headed to a new team for 2022.

On Monday, the Denver Broncos announced the signing of Schobert following his 2021 season with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jonas Griffith – a likely starter and key piece for the Broncos – as injured over the weekend.

Since 2016, Schobert has compiled 661 total tackles, including 100+ each year from 2017-21. He also has 10 forced fumbles and 10 interceptions in his career.

After finishing second in tackles for Pittsburgh last season, Schobert will move on and try to fill a key role for the Broncos in 2022. Schobert had 154 total tackles with 33.5 TFL and 13 sacks throughout his career with the Badgers. Hopefully, he puts up another strong run in 2022.
