Jonathan Taylor has shown just how special of a player he is from the moment he took his first handoff in Madison. He’s been one of the most dominating running backs in college football for the last three seasons, and has hit incredible career marks through his junior season.

On Saturday, Taylor hurdled another career milestone, passing one of the all-time greats with his performance against Nebraska.

Taylor surpassed Herschel Walker’s three-year rushing total of 5,596 yards through his first three seasons at Georgia. He did so with a big afternoon against Nebraska, totaling 204 yards and a pair of touchdowns against the Huskers this weekend.

After Saturday’s game, Taylor has 5,634 career rushing yards with two regular season games to play. Wisconsin will also have a bowl game and a potential chance to play in the B1G Championship Game, as well.

This season, Taylor has rushed for 1,463 yards and 17 touchdowns, helping the Badgers get to 8-2 on the season.

Because of his incredible accomplishment this week, FOX college football analyst Joel Klatt wanted to send a congratulatory message Taylor’s direction. Having covered several Wisconsin games in the last three years, Klatt has had many chances to see the Wisconsin great up close.

Below is the message Klatt sent to Taylor following the career accomplishment:
