John Torchio scores second pick-6 of 2022 as Wisconsin starts hot vs. Purdue
John Torchio has turned into a playmaker for Wisconsin’s defense. During the Week 8 game against Purdue, he came up with another game-changing takeaway as the Badgers are starting hot.
With Wisconsin already leading 7-0 against the B1G West co-leaders, Torchio picked off Aidan O’Connell deep inside Boilermaker territory. It was a great play by Torchio, and he completed the play by rolling back 31 yards for a touchdown.

Facing a white-hot Boilermakers squad, Wisconsin is off to a 14-0 start in search of derailing Purdue’s season. The Boilermakers also missed a chip-shot field goal, so the Badgers are in a great position early on.
We’ll see if Jim Leonhard can register a signature win over Purdue to provide a jolt to the program.
