Johnny Davis had an exit to remember when he left the floor at Assembly Hall on Tuesday night.

Davis scored 30 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and was responsible for Wisconsin’s late rally in a 74-69 road victory over Indiana. The All-American and National Player of the Year candidate scored the final 13 points for the Badgers in the comeback victory.

That performance alone would be enough to frustrate Hoosier fans attending Tuesday night’s contest. But the Wisconsin star took it to another level when he left the floor, waving goodbye to everyone after the victory.

Tuesday night’s game was an intense one with the crowd heavily involved throughout the contest. A few “pleasant” comments made throughout the game probably led to Davis’ reaction afterward.

But, when you score 30 points and get the win, you can pretty much do whatever you want.

Davis was incredibly efficient in his performance, shooting 10-of-15 from the floor and connecting on 10-of-14 free throw attempts in the game. He also got a lot of help from Brad Davison, who scored 21 points and grabbed 7 boards.

With the win, Wisconsin sits just a half-game behind Illinois in the B1G standings for first place. The Badgers are tied with Purdue (but own the head-to-head) at 11-4. The Illini are 11-3.
