Jonathan Taylor’s time in the 40-yard dash was good enough to land as one of the 10 best for the NFL Scouting Combine this week.

Taylor turned some heads this week, clocking a 4.39-second time in the event. That time was tied with four others for the seventh-fastest speed for this year’s NFL Scouting Combine, regardless of position.

According to Brian Mason of Wisconsin sports communications, Taylor became just the third running back weighing 225 pounds or more to clock a 40-yard dash time under 4.4 seconds. His quick speed will certainly be beneficial for the 2020 NFL Draft.

Last season, Taylor rushed for 2,003 yards and 21 touchdowns. He also caught five touchdown passes, helping Wisconsin to a 10-win season. The Badgers claimed another B1G West title in 2019.

Taylor’s time was the fastest for any B1G player attending the NFL Scouting Combine.
