Jonathan Taylor continues to have a tough time getting on the field as he battles through an ankle sprain, according to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport was asked about the injury of the former Wisconsin Badger and if he will play in Week 9 when Indianapolis (3-4-1) goes on the road to take on the New England Patriots (4-4):
“Jonathan Taylor has not practiced yet this week. He had that ankle sprain earlier in the season. From my understanding, this is about maintenance to limit his workload during the week and get on the field on Sunday. If he’s out at practice later today, that would mean likely playing you’d think. Not a great sign though that he has not be on the field.”
