Jonathan Taylor made sure to pick up 1,000 yards in his rookie NFL season, but he then went on to provide an impressive exclamation point on his campaign.

Taylor entered the Week 17 season finale with 916 yards rushing on the year. He added to that in a big way, helping to lead Indianapolis to a win and a spot in the AFC Playoffs.

Late in the fourth quarter, it was a 45-yard touchdown run by Taylor that iced the victory. He broke down one linebacker in the hole before cutting into the open field and free for the score:

That run also put Taylor over 200 yards for the game and beyond the single-game Colts record previously held by Edgerrin James. Taylor finished with an incredible 253 yards and two touchdowns against the Jaguars.

To put that into perspective, James’ previous record was 219:

Yeah, that’s quite the year for the rookie! Now, Taylor will get to see postseason action in his first season in the NFL.

Best of luck to Taylor in the playoffs!
