Jonathan Taylor off to hot start on MNF with blazing 76-yard TD
It did not take long for Jonathan Taylor to make his presence felt on Monday Night Football!
Playing for the Colts, Taylor and the offense got the ball quickly after Baltimore punted on its opening possession. A penalty and a couple of incomplete passes set up a 3rd-and-15 for Indianapolis.
That down-and-distance did not bother the Colts. Carson Wentz started the play with a short swing pass to Taylor that allowed him to get moving in a hurry.
The blocking set up a lane downfield, but after that, it was all about Taylor’s speed on the play. He gashed Baltimore’s defense and was gone in an instant, rolling 76 yards for the touchdown.
