Jonathan Taylor will go down as one of the all-time great college running backs in history, but he is not downplaying the significance of playing in the Rose Bowl.
Taylor has rushed for over 6,000 yards in his career and has an even 50 rushing touchdowns. Add in his receiving numbers, and Taylor is approaching 6,500 total yards with 55 career scores. He is also just 91 yards away from back-to-back seasons with 2,000 yards rushing.
An All-American and Doak Walker Award winner, Taylor knows a lot about prestigious accomplishments. However, he also acknowledged that a win in the Rose Bowl would top his list of accolades.
“A Rose Bowl victory would definitely rank at the top,” said Taylor during an interview for BTN. “If you look at the history of this game and our program. We come away with a win on Jan. 1st, we’ll etch our place in history with our program.”
Jonathan Taylor's accomplished a lot in his career.

The Rose Bowl has traditionally been viewed as one of the all-time great bowls in college football history. Add in the fact that the Badgers are on a three-game losing streak in Pasadena and you can understand Taylor’s mindset ahead of the New Year’s Day showdown with Oregon.
A win would be Wisconsin’s first Rose Bowl victory since 1999. As it currently stands, Wisconsin is on a five-game bowl winning streak. Hopefully, they can make it six against the Ducks.
