After an incredible sophomore season, Jonathan Taylor has received the Doak Walker Award, presented to college football’s top running back.

Taylor was presented with the award at the Doak Walker Award Presentation Banquet on Friday.

In 2018, Taylor rushed for an NCAA-best 2,194 yards and 16 touchdowns as Wisconsin finished the season 8-5. He eclipsed the 100-yard mark in 12 of 13 contests and reached 200 yards in five games. Taylor rushed for a career-high 321 yards and three touchdowns against Purdue.

Taylor has been magnificent through two seasons with the Badgers, totaling over 4,000 yards and 39 touchdowns. He’s averaging 154.5 yards per game for his career.

Entering the 2019 season, Taylor is one of the favorites to win the Heisman Trophy.
