Jonathan Taylor reportedly might not be playing again in 2022, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Taylor has battled multiple injuries this season.
Taylor suffered a high ankle sprain during the first half of Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings. The Indianapolis Colts blew a huge 33-0 lead and may have lost something else besides the game.
Rapoport stated that Taylor is going to meet with doctors, but it’s not looking like Taylor is going to be playing another snap for Indianapolis this season.
#Colts star RB Jonathan Taylor was diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain sustained in Saturday’s game against the #Vikings, sources say. He’s still meeting with doctors, but it’s considered highly unlikely that he’ll play again this season.

It hasn’t been an easy year for the Colts altogether, as the team fired HC Frank Reich earlier this season. Former C Jeff Saturday is now the interim HC.
Taylor has played in 11 games for the Colts this season, accounting for 861 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns. This comes after the career year he had in 2021 where he rushed for 1,811 yards with 20 total touchdowns.
