Jonathan Taylor to undergo tests following injury with Indianapolis Colts, per report
Jonathan Taylor suffered an ankle injury against the Tennessee Titans in Week 4. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport stated that a source has told him what the next steps are for the Indianapolis Colts RB.
The Colts lost 24-17 to the Titans on Sunday. It was a tale of two different running back performances. Derrick Henry had 114 yards rushing with 1 touchdown, while Taylor was bottled up and had 42 yards rushing.
Rapoport’s source says that Taylor is going to be getting some more tests done to make sure that there is no major damage to his ankle.
#Colts RB Jonathan Taylor, who got his ankle rolled up, will have tests imminently to make sure there is no major damage, source said. With a short week and a Thursday game, this bears watching.

The Colts will play next on Thursday Night Football against the Denver Broncos. The Broncos played the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 4. Indianapolis is now 1-1-2 and is now third in the AFC South.
Taylor’s number this season have not been up to par when compared to what he did in 2021. He has 286 yards rushing and 1 touchdown through four games. Taylor took home the NFL rushing title last season with 1,811 yards rushing.
