Jonathan Taylor may not see the field again for No. 13 Wisconsin in its showdown with No. 11 Michigan. Fortunately for the Badgers, it doesn’t seem like they’ll need him.

After rushing for 143 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries, including  a 72-yard touchdown jaunt, Taylor headed to the medical tent as he battled cramps in the game. His return, according to FOX, is questionable.

Wisconsin, however, built a 28-0 halftime lead at the half, so the Badgers may not even need their star tailback in the lineup. Who would’ve expected that?

Coming into Saturday’s game, Taylor had not scored a touchdown against Michigan in two tries. He was able to reach the end zone twice in the first 15 minutes of Saturday’s contest. Jack Coan accounted for the other two rushing touchdowns.

With such a big halftime lead, it may not be worth the risk to bring Taylor back into the game.
