A Wisconsin tight end has decided to explore his options outside of Madison.

Monday, Evan Flood of 247Sports reported that junior tight end Seth Currens has entered his name in the NCAA transfer database, allowing him the chance to look at other opportunities. He’s played in 38 career games for the Badgers.

Currens has played mostly on special teams throughout his career with Wisconsin. He’s collected four tackles over the last three years.

A native of Pickerington, Ohio, Currens was a consensus three-star prospect coming out of high school. He was a member of Wisconsin’s 2016 recruiting class and used his first season in Madison as a redshirt year. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.

The Badgers just finished a season in which they claimed another B1G West title, ended the year with 10 wins and played in the Rose Bowl.
