Kayden Lyles has battled through injuries throughout his career. Unfortunately, the former Badger will be sidelined once again in 2022.

Now a member of the Florida State program, Lyles revealed Wednesday that his career is over due to an injury. Lyles transferred to the Seminoles this offseason after 5 years at Wisconsin.

“I know all too well that injuries are a part of playing football at the highest level,” wrote Lyles. “Unfortunately I will not be able to be on the field this season, but I came to Florida State to make an impact on this program and that is still what I will do. We have a group of dedicated offensive linemen, and I am going to use the experience I’ve gained through five years of playing college football to help them develop any way I can.”

Lyles appeared in 29 games over his career at Wisconsin with 8 starts along the offensive line. Best of luck to Lyles as he works on recovering from his latest setback.
