Refereeing is almost always a problem.

And realistically, it should make sense. There should be bad calls made from time to time. After all, referees are human. They can make mistakes.

You know the players on the field? They make mistakes, too. Collegiate or professionally, people make mistakes.

This bowl season, however, it seems like these mistakes are coming at costly times and impacting Big Ten teams in a negative way — just ask Ohio State. During the Rose Bowl between Wisconsin and Oregon, there were a number of questionable calls.

The Badgers, when trying to go down the field and score against the Ducks to take a late lead and potentially win the game, were called for an offensive pass interference. That didn’t sit well with Wisconsin fans.

After the game, a local doctor in West Allis, Wisconsin, is trying to help. He is willing to give free eye exams to NCAA referees:

Would he actually give a free exam to an NCAA referee? Maybe. Of course, it’s more of a joke and dig at the NCAA and its officials.
